Another new teambuilding event for 2008, the Cast Away scenario gives guests a chance to work in teams and decide how they would respond to being stranded on a deserted island! First team members are asked to decide what three items they would want with them on the island. Points are given for creativity and know-how. Next everyone is given a demonstration on primitive fire-making by a seasoned survival professional. Watch as the flame comes to life just from rubbing two sticks together. Now it's your turn! Then teams are given the challenge of creating a compass without help and only utilizing prior knowledge and luck. Finally the teams are given their mysterious black boxes full of raft building materials and are challenged with building a raft that will support their entire team while paddling to the opposite shore and back. A memorable and exciting day of teambuilding, the Cast Away scenario will get everyone involved and will really test a team's ability to work together!

A Rally Day is intended to be a fun and competitive way to inhance a regular desert raft trip. We'll split your groups into teams who man a raft with an experienced guide. The teams compete throughout the day in various challenges like the Raft Push War, a variation on good old fashioned tug-o-war, or like the Island Rescue where teammates must work together to transport their entire team from an "island" to their raft by kayak.

The T.E.A.M. Challenge focuses not necessarily on competition but on focused, guided improement in production and efficiency. Facilitators host each team as they float down the river on a raft. Teams stop at on-land challenge stations that test their ingenuity, cooperativeness, and communication. After the challenge is completed, Facilitators lead a breakdown of the processes that got the group to their goal and where improvements can be made. THIS EVENT IS ALSO GREAT FOR DAYS WHEN THE WEATHER PREVENTS IN-WATER ACTIVITIES.

Try one of our BRAND NEW teambuilding adventures for 2008! The Build-a-Raft experience is a hilarious and momorable way to spend a couple of hours by the river. Teams are given workstations and presented with black mystery boxes. Inside their boxes are various raft building materials. At the whistle, teams must work together to build a solid sea-worthy vessel. Teams are timed and when the clocks runs out, it's time to test your raft! Each team will individually place their raft into the river, load every team member onto it, and then paddle from one shore to the other and back. Performance and time win points and those who sink...are sunk! WE CAN ACCOMODATE TEAMS OF 4 TO 10 PEOPLE!
